Amicalola, Cherokee for tumbling waters, is one of Georgia's most popular state parks. The state park's main feature is the 729 foot cascading waterfall.
Third tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi, Amicalola Falls have impressed the earliest Natives and the first Georgia settlers as one of the most majestic scenes in the state.
