Artist's Description

With its massive granite dome for a backdrop, Table Rock State Park was among a group of original South Carolina parks first established in 1933. Table Rock Mountain, reaching 3157 feet, marks the southern end of the Appalachian Mountain Chain. This area, sometimes called the Blue Wall, makes up a remarkable stretch of parklands and mountain preserves along SC Route 11.
While the park provides some of the most challenging hiking trails in the state, a quick hike leads to the picturesque Carrick Creek Falls. Less than a quarter mile from the parking lot, it's easy to see why the falls is so popular with park visitors.

Ben's photography is about that part of his youth, echoing that same passion that his parents had of the Great Outdoors. Visit
