Description
Heading west out of Westminster, there are five South Carolina waterfall sites in an 18 mile stretch along U.S. Rt 17. The first from Westminster is Chau Ram Falls. Right next to a parking area of Chau Ram County Park, Ramsey Creek drops 40 feet creating this beautiful waterfall. From the parking lot a huge granite slab drops off into a pool below the falls, creating a wonderful play area for children. For the curious, a hiking trail follows Ramsey Creek as it descends toward the Chauga River. More cascades and waterfalls await park explorers.
