Description
The Clover Hollow Bridge, built in 1916, was bypassed years ago, but remains in remarkable condition. One of three covered bridges in Giles County, the Clover Hollow Bridge (or Sinking Creek Bridge) is one of Virginia's remaining seven historic covered bridges. The 70 foot long span, adjacent Route 601 nearby Newport, is open only to foot traffic and is surrounded by a wayside park.
