Seldom a day goes by without some type of cloud cover over the Florida Peninsula. Here on the east coast of Central Florida the sun's glow peaks out from under a blanket of coastal clouds, brightening the morning with another impressive sunrise on Cocoa Bay.
Here on the Indian River, sailboats rest at their mooring, just waiting for a daily breeze to kick up. The Indian River on Florida's Space Coast is one of the best areas for championship regattas. The Midwinter Championships draw sailboats and crews from all around the country. Sailing on one of the best bodies of water in the state, the race runs on three consecutive days in February.
Born in western Pennsylvania, Ben quickly discovered that his parents were passionate about travel, photography, oil painting and wildlife. Being the youngest member of his family, he grew up exploring much of the eastern half of the United States at an early age with his older brothers. Ben's photography is about that part of his youth, echoing that same passion that his parents had of the Great Outdoors. Visit
