Description
This Indian River scene captures January's second full moon of the month. Nobody knows for sure why it's called a Blue Moon, but the term has been kicked about for at least four centuries. The state of Maine has been linked to popularizing the term describing this somewhat rare lunar event.
Here along the Indian River sailboats swing on their mooring adjusting to daily breezes. Bathed in the moon light, the moon does its best to peek from behind the clouds to illuminate the scene.

How GORGEOUS Ben!! If it weren't for the title, I'd not be sure if it's the moon or the sun! Such a surreal, unique, and absolutely beautiful scene!
