Description

Although the Juliette community is considered part of the Macon Metropolitan Statistical Area, in no way could it be considered anything other than a rural town well off the beaten path. But Juliette continues to enjoy the acclaim gained from the filming of Fried Green Tomatoes. Juliette's McCrackin Street was renovated for the movie and now basks in the limelight as a tourist district. While previous films were also shot in Juliette, Fried Green Tomatoes was the last in 2006, and most memorable.
