Description
One of the ever dwindling inventory of Virginia's authentic covered bridges, this 50 foot span is one of three Giles County bridges which cross Sinking Creek. Orginally named the Bradley Bridge after the owner and builder, the covered bridge is support by a queenpost truss and covered by a sheet metal roof and horizontal siding. The historic bridge, located on private property, was built in 1912, surviving several floods and storms. Located on Mountain Lake Road, visitors should ask permission to see the bridge, and be respectful of private property.
