Oconaluftee Visitor Center Elk metal print by Ben Prepelka.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description

Here at the Oconaluftee Visitor Center resident elk entertain thousands of Great Smoky Mountains National Park visitors. In 2001 twenty-five elk were reintroduction into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The elk are thriving today, and don't seem to take notice of park visitors. But the National Parks Service warns their guest that the elk are wild and can be dangerous, please keep your distance.

Ben Prepelka

Born in western Pennsylvania, Ben quickly discovered that his parents were passionate about travel, photography, oil painting and wildlife. Being the youngest member of his family, he grew up exploring much of the eastern half of the United States at an early age with his older brothers.
