Description
Located in the southeast corner of the park, the Ohanapecosh name comes from a Taidnapam or Upper Cowlitz Indian habitation site along the Ohanapecosh River. Here in the southeastern corner of Mount Rainier National Park the Ohanapecosh River creates a dramatic valley as visitors exit the park along Route 123.
