Description
Warm days during autumn have these tobacco plants putting out another crop of leaves. Because the stumps were left in the ground, large healthy-looking leaves sprouted, looking much like the originals.

This humble field reminds me of my grandfather who grew tobacco in Kentucky and then in retirement in his Oregon garden. I have a photo of him proudly standing beside his plants. I imagine the leaves smelled lovely as they dried. Thank you for this charming capture, Ben! L/F
