Description
Serving the community of Causeyville in Lauderdale County for nearly a century, the T.J. Bostick & Sons Trading Post offered nearly everything residents could ask for. Built in 1895, the store also served as a post office, drug store, auto parts dealership, polling station and town hall.
The Causeyville Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, consisting of two homes and two general stores. One of the most prosperous counties in Mississippi, most residents relied on farming and timber industries. It's sad to see that not much stirs today in Causeyville.
