Product Details

Purchase a tote bag featuring the photograph "Portland Head Lighthouse" by Ben Prepelka.   Our tote bags are made from soft, durable, poly-poplin fabric and include a 1" black strap for easy carrying on your shoulder.   All seams are double-stitched for added durability.   Each tote bag is machine-washable in cold water and is printed on both sides using the same image.

Construction orders for this lighthouse were issued by America's first president, George Washington. Completed in 1791, the 80 foot tall lighthouse was the first on Maine's coastline. Today, the structure stands on the grounds of Fort Williams Park.

Born in western Pennsylvania, Ben quickly discovered that his parents were passionate about travel, photography, oil painting and wildlife. Being the youngest member of his family, he grew up exploring much of the eastern half of the United States at an early age with his older brothers.
