Description
Here in Utah's Canyonlands National Park visitors will find two very accessible districts, the Island in the Sky and the Needles. The Island in the Sky, a point of land separated by the Green and Colorado rivers, is not too from the city of Moab. These two converging rivers have managed to create the incredible gorges which spawned the name Canyonlands.
One of the most popular sites on the Island, and one of the easiest hikes, is the Mesa Arch. Here you'll find a great example of nature's handiwork, a gaping hole in a sandstone fin. After a close-up inspection of this arch, a view through the opening reveals incredible views of Utah's Canyonlands far below. Perched high above White Rim Canyon Road, this striking sunrise view is considered unequaled by many. Found about an hour's drive from Moab, you have to work on your timing to see this enchanting view at sunrise.
This panoramic scene was achieved by stitching 4 separate photos together in a photo editor.

Nice sunrise capture of a scene that I am very familiar with. I grew up in Utah. Keep up the good work Ben.
