Description
Heading south from Blue Ridge, Georgia, Aska Road is full of ups and downs and a few twists and turns until it reaches the Toccoa River Valley. Here in the northern Georgia mountains several cities and a dozen small towns fill the hollows and level valleys. The town of Blue Ridge is one of the largest, but the historic district still holds on to its 19th century charm as an old whistle stop.
Not far from Blue Ridge, this scene on Aska Road takes in a beautiful view of pastureland, surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountain foothills. The picturesque drive winds through the Aska Adventure Area and a countryside where expansive home sites have utilized pasturelands of the area's dwindling rural farms. Following along the fringes of the Chattahoochee Forest, it's easy to fall in love with this pleasant mix of rural small towns, beautiful mountains, and its easy-living farmland atmosphere.

Gorgeous composition, Ben! It couldn't be more perfect if it were painted and all these components went from your mind to canvas via a brush. So beautiful and peaceful. Bet it's gorgeous in fall too.
