Artist's Description
Once considered North America's largest area of silver-production, Coeur d'Alene has grown into Idaho's second largest metropolitan area. One of Idaho 's most beautiful regions, this panhandle state park features over a half-mile section of public shoreline on Coeur d'Alene Lake. Walkers, hikers and bikers love this level pathway and beautiful views of the lake.
About Ben Prepelka
Born in western Pennsylvania, Ben quickly discovered that his parents were passionate about travel, photography, oil painting and wildlife. Being the youngest member of his family, he grew up exploring much of the eastern half of the United States at an early age with his older brothers. Ben's photography is about that part of his youth, echoing that same passion that his parents had of the Great Outdoors. Visit

Just gorgeous, Ben! Haven't ever been to this part of the country, but reminds me so much of Vermont's Lake Champlain region I know I'd love visiting it too - thanks! (smiles)
Ben Prepelka replied:
Thanks, and great comparison Felipe - but Champlain has much more history in its surrounding towns.
