Artist's Description

Magnificent orange groves, stately homes and fine resort hotels, set in a rich blanket of tropical foliage ... briefly described the oldest resort town on the eastern coast of central Florida. By 1887 the town of Rockledge was established, long before Henry Flagler's railroad extended southward.
Today the area is just as popular. While the hotels have been replaced by riverside condos, many of the old homes have been refurbished and add a lot of charm to the Indian River community.

About Ben Prepelka

Ben Prepelka

Born in western Pennsylvania, Ben quickly discovered that his parents were passionate about travel, photography, oil painting and wildlife. Being the youngest member of his family, he grew up exploring much of the eastern half of the United States at an early age with his older brothers. Ben's photography is about that part of his youth, echoing that same passion that his parents had of the Great Outdoors. Visit
