Artist's Description
Remnants of a 275 year old fresco showing Jesus on the Cross at Mission Nuestra Senora de la Purisima Concepcion de Acuna, simply known today as the Mission Concepcion.
The mission is one of a string of Spanish missions spaced out along the San Antonio River, which make up the San Antonio Missions National Historic Park. These mission churches are also the only UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Texas.
About Ben Prepelka
Born in western Pennsylvania, Ben quickly discovered that his parents were passionate about travel, photography, oil painting and wildlife. Being the youngest member of his family, he grew up exploring much of the eastern half of the United States at an early age with his older brothers. Ben's photography is about that part of his youth, echoing that same passion that his parents had of the Great Outdoors. Visit
