It's old steam-powered gizmos such as this that may have inspired the steampunk movement, influencing the lastest trends of fashion, jewelry, decor and furniture.
Here at the Yulee Sugar Mill State Historic Site in Homosassa Springs, remnants of of a sugar mill offer insight to a brief period of Florida history when a wave of sugar mill plantations spread across the territory, spanning a period from 1800 to 1865.
About Ben Prepelka
Born in western Pennsylvania, Ben quickly discovered that his parents were passionate about travel, photography, oil painting and wildlife. Being the youngest member of his family, he grew up exploring much of the eastern half of the United States at an early age with his older brothers.
