Description
Enduring for nearly a century, the classic Mail Pouch slogan is slowly fading away. This roadside icon of the 20th century has attracted more photographers and artists than any other commercial enterprise. Decorating barns in 22 states across America, the Bloch Brothers ad became a familiar sight from South Carolina to California
Among the Indiana fields of corn, wheat, soy beans and sunflowers, this Bartholomew County barn still bears the unmistakable Bloch Brothers slogan. Last painted in 1986, the faded barn still captures much attention. Even though most barn buildings are painted barn red, the Mail Pouch slogan was thought to display best on a background of black.
