Description
Teton County is located just to the east of the Rocky Mountain Front, lying between the Lewis and Clark National Forest and the plains. Here along Montana's I-15 corridor the horizon seems to extend for miles and miles in every direction. This is Big Sky Country and agriculture is the number one industry, adding nearly four billion dollars to state's economy.
The grain elevator pictured here in Dutton symbolizes what Montana is all about. Affording Americans a moment to pay tribute to the Montana farmers and ranchers who produce the food we eat. Small town Dutton, population just over 300, is considered the Wheat Capital of Montana. Located in the Golden Triangle region, the town was named for Charles E. Dutton, a general agent for Great Northern Railway.

While in the Air Force many years ago, we used to stop in Dutton for breakfast. Beautiful image of this grain elevator.

Congratulations on your Roadside feature Ben! I love seeing these along the road in Montana and Alberta. Seems like we've covered some of the same paths L/F
