Description
A half dozen elements in this scene create an intriguing seaside composition. Focusing on the foreground and the accentuated ripples in the sand, the eye wanders up toward the beached Hobie. Perhaps the wandering eye will pause for a brief moment, taking in the dune grasses, sea oats and a line of distant ocean waves.
Rendered in black and white, the distinct waves of sand at Ponce Inlet are magnified by the local tone process, or tone mapping technique.
