Description
Located in the heart of the city, Spokane’s beautiful Riverfront Park only gets better with views of the Spokane River and Spokane Falls. The city’s initial growth was spurred on by the arrival of the Great Northern Railroad during the late 19th century. Today, the only remnant of the railway in Riverfront Park is the clock tower of Great Northern Depot. Centered on Havermale Island, the stone tower can be seen from most any location in the park.
