Description
Nor far from the West Virginia town of Gauley Bridge, waterfall fans have a chance to visit one of the tallest waterfalls in the state. Located alongside U.S. Route 60, the stately Cathedral Falls drops 60 feet into a natural amphitheater. Cathedral Falls is one of the most photogenic falls in the state.
A roadside attraction, Cane Branch cascades down a narrow canyon and flows under U.S. Rt 60 and out to the New River. A great place for a picnic lunch, kids will especially love wading around the rock strewn stream below the falls.
