Description
Built in 1881, the Sam Wagner Covered Bridge (also known as the Gottlieb Brown Covered Bridge) crosses Chillisquaque Creek as well as the border between Montour and Northumberland counties The bridge, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, is supported by a Burr truss system. Still supporting local traffic, the bridge is 86 feet long.

Love these old covered bridges as they have so much history associated with them. Indiana too has many of these old beauties preserved as well.
